Circuits Noir

"Circuits Noir" is an original 9" x 12" hand-pulled linocut block print. This print comes mounted onto a 16"x20" acid-free cardboard frame and mat.

To create a block print, I sketch out an image on tracing paper and then press the image onto a linoleum block using a pen. This block is then carved by hand and used to make test prints.

I then use ink and hand pressure to transfer an original image from a carved linoleum block onto paper. As each print is created by hand, there are slight variations due to the process. Each piece is unique!
